My friend and fellow photographer Dave comes in town from Phoenix once a year. We always make it a point to get out and shoot. For about 20 years now, we've enjoyed exploring old abandoned buildings. We found a great one this time. The United Warehouse in downtown Memphis. There was a sign on the front door that read, "Smile, You're on camera!" Now, looking at this buiding, it was pretty easy to assume that there was no working electricity. Also, the door on the side of the building was missing its window and was unlocked. A soft push and it opened. So, we took the risk. We took a few shots, then noticed some stairs heading down to a really creepy basement. There were rooms with walk-in security vaults and a bathroom. Then we went up about four floors. I'd love to go shoot there again.
